CASE STUDY 1 - VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA

173-unit strata. Deductible cut from $250,000 to $75,000.

Multiple major water leak events led this 19-storey Vancouver strata to face an insurance deductible that rose from $50,000 to $500,000 before being negotiated down to $250,000. Annual premiums also increased by $90,000.

After installing the SafeHous system, the strata's deductible was reduced to $75,000 at the first renewal  a 70% reduction. Annual premiums fell by $80,000. Owners no longer needed individual deductible policies, saving an estimated $173,000 per year.

Located in one of Vancouver’s most prestigious neighbourhoods on False Creek, the building ownership sought the most reliable water risk reduction system available. After extensive due diligence and evaluation of systems on the market, Integrity Risk Reduction was awarded the project.
